Membership Conditions
Membership will allow you to access all library collections, services, and to the Internet subject to the Terms and Conditions. Internet access may vary according to the library you are using – please check with your local library.
Memberships for children (under 18) must be submitted by a parent or guardian.
You must comply with the Library‘s code of conduct & general rules at all times while using the library facilities.
Public libraries operate within the statutory framework in relation to all services including the Code of Behaviour for the protection and safeguarding. Library users must comply with all associated requirements.
For Student memberships current student card & visa is mandatory.
Books may be borrowed for a maximum 21 days including DVD.
Print items may be renewed up to maximum 2 times.
Library members are expected to return items on time and in good condition.
Automated notifications are sent by email or telephone, if requested.
An item is considered lost when it is 30 days overdue, and your account will be billed a non-refundable replacement fee.
The membership shall be for a tenure of one year after which it has to be renewed.
Book reading in the library is allowed only on Saturdays during opening hours.
Premium members can get books 6 days a week other than vacances scolaires.
Premium members can borrow books only by pre-appointment by call or online.
